first of all i would like to talk about to my concept of visual teleportation. in this, you will be at one place physically but at different place visually. now the question arises is how to do that.
first i would like to tell that i know if anyone have already stated this method, i am thinking over it to do so i am telling about it. have everyone of you seen 360 degree videos? if not then go on YouTube and watch any video of 360 degree so that you will understand the concept clearly.
the device used for visual teleportation is just a goggle. That goggle will be prepared according to the face of user so that it will perfectly fit to user and he will able to see everything through goggle only. this is an important condition for giving best experience to user.
now, come back to YouTube. in 360 degree video present on YouTube, we use mouse for changing angle of view. we do this by holding left click and then moving mouse, right? the concept I wan to use is that the sensor will sense the eye position and according to our eye position the viewing angle will be changed. suppose user look in left then the scene present in front of you will be shifted to corresponding angle to right so that user will get the feel like reality. now, what is the use of this technique?
suppose i am not able to go and enjoy IND vs AUS cricket match. I will place a real 360 degree camera in stands and i will watch continuous data sent by that camera. By doing this I will get the visual feel that I am watching that match live from the stadium.
